Bitcoins Satoshi Nakamoto's last emails
On April 23, 2011 an entity known as Satoshi Nakamoto sent an email to software developer Mike Hearn and wrote, “moved on to other things” and that the project was in “good hands.” He also expressed hope for the continued development of the project and wrote that Hearns Java version of Bitcoin gives developers something to work on. The email title was “Holding coins in an unspendable state for a rolling time window.”
A few days later Hearn received another email from Satoshi Nakamoto basically saying that he was upset that Hearn had talked to the press referring to him as a mysterious shadowy figure. Satoshi Nakamoto wrote the project was taking on the elements of a pirate currency and the project should be made open source so that credit can be given to developers and that this credit would motivate them.
There are no other credible sources to tell you about anymore email correspondence after the above time line.
